Maintenance and Calibration
Maintenance
All disassembly must be performed only by a Winnove Medical SAS employee or an authorised service provider. Unauthorized opening voids the product warranty. Users must report any abnormal noises or behaviour to the manufacturer.
Allowed cleaning actions:
- Users are solely responsible for the external appearance of the robot (outer surface and screen). The manufacturer is not liable for scratches or wear.
- Dust the robot regularly with a soft, lint‑free microfiber cloth.
- Disinfect the screen with a soft, lint‑free microfiber cloth lightly dampened with a screen‑safe cleaning solution.
- Regularly clean and disinfect the collection tray, which can accumulate metallic particles from the cutting process.
Important:
- Do not use corrosive cleaners on glass, plastic, or metal (including aluminum and steel).
- Use separate cloths for the robot exterior and the collection tray to avoid scratching the device with metallic particles.
Precautions :
- Ensure the device is completely dry before powering it on.
- Never clean NovaBend™ or its nozzle while it is operating; liquid ingress could cause malfunction.
Calibration
Calibration (Wire Setup) is a sensitive operation reserved for a Winnove Medical technician. Regular calibration by your service provider is recommended.
Contact support if an exceptional calibration may be needed in these cases:
- The quality of retainers becomes uncertain or less precise than before.
- Significant environmental changes occur (e.g., large temperature shifts).
